BlablaCar connects drivers with people looking for a ride and gathers 1.6 million members who share their car journeys across Europe. Following our success in France, we have virally grown our community to the UK (Blablacar.com) and to Spain (Blablacar.es) and we continue to expand in Europe in order to become the leading ridesharing website.

Some figures about Covoiturage.fr/BlablaCar.com:

• 40 million page views

• 1.6 million members

• 350 000 people are travelling every month = 700 full High-speed trains per month

• 80,000 new members per month

We are looking for a smart, highly motivated and connected person to help grow our community in the UK. The position will be based in our office in Paris.

Responsibilities

70% of your time: Community management

• Animate Comuto’s UK community through Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social media

• Establish relationships with festivals, concerts, events and Universities to advocate the use of car sharing among students

• Start various and added value discussions on social media

• Organize online contests in order to reward our community

• Reach out to bloggers

• Follow conferences and events where BlablaCar should be involved

30% of your time: Content management

• Write articles about Blablacar.com and car sharing activity

You will act in concert with the person in charge of Communication.

Profile expected

With extensive experience in the UK, you are internet savvy and believe in car sharing as a national mean of transport.  You have proven skills in communication and words like CPC, impressions, deliverability, CPA, bounce rate mean something to you ? So join the young, efficient and dynamic team of BlablaCar.

• Min. 6 months commitment (starting asap)

• English mother tongue and basic French

• Ability to work in France and travel to the UK

• Proven skills in communication and writing

• Blogging experience, FB page management, large number of friends / followers on FB or Twitter is a plus

• Graphical/design skills would also be a plus

• Understand html language
